OFF-ROAD

Besides our specialised subject of stage rallying, we have a couple of other favourite forms of Off-Road Motorsport.

The term “rubbing is racing” is often used in Rallycross, as it produces close battles, both in terms of the action out on track and the timing sheets at the end of the races. Mixed surface tracks (which are not a million miles away from civilisation) often with big jumps, coupled with powerful machinery launching off the start line, are the perfect ingredients that make for exciting viewing both in person and on our screens.

“One Life, Live it!”

… is a motivational phrase encouraging people to make the most of their one and only life. It’s a call to action, urging individuals to embrace experiences, pursue passions, and live a fulfilling life. This phrase is often used in contexts related to adventure”

The phrase can often be found stuck on a Landy and is used by off-road folk. Baja and Cross-Country are other forms of Motorsport which challenge competitors in tough environments.

Trials is a great low-budget entry-level form of motorsport which is accessible to anyone of all ages with a car and it is great fun to boot.
