Rallying is one of the most exciting forms of motorsport, it is fast, technical, challenging and unpredictable and for us as media covering the sport, all of those characteristics apply to us also.

Here at Xlerate, we are not afraid to walk the extra mile to remote locations to find something special, and we often substitute our lunch for an extra bit of kit. Long weekends away from home and long days out at events are common, but that doesn’t put us off.

Neither do the environments in which stage rallying can often take place, which are often challenging and can feel gruelling sometimes. From adverse wintery weather to hot and dusty conditions, day or night. We push ourselves to the limits and thrive in them, to deliver imagery that makes an impact, capturing the action to complement storytelling.

From single venues to multi-venue stage rallying, both nationally and internationally, Xlerate’s passion for rallying can take us to some truly stunning locations which provide us with some sources of epic imagery. Through decades of covering rallying, the team have gained extensive knowledge of many venues used in our sport. We also have built up an archive of photography, spanning many championships and events over our time in the sport.

Rallying also produces some of the best storylines and closest battles that motorsport can offer. Played out over many stages, with many competitors and often over multiple days; unpredictable results are therefore common. Events and Championships are won and lost out on the stages and victory can be lost in the blink of an eye. Mechanical failure, human error or the environment itself can all play their part in how the story unfolds and Xlerate can tell those storylines through various means.

The team at Xlerate absolutely love this truly unique form of motorsport, and we have adopted the slogan “#ObsessedWithRally”.
